Vedas Organics LLP (“Vedas Organics”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

Acceptance of These Terms
By using our website or online store, purchasing via marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, JioMart), or buying at our retail outlets/dealers, you agree to these Terms along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return/Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use or purchase.
Eligibility and Buyer Types
You must be 18+ and competent to contract under Indian law. We sell to both consumers and business buyers. Mandatory consumer rights apply where required. Resale or distribution requires our written authorization; no exclusivity is implied unless expressly granted.
Product Nature and Safety
Our products (including vermicompost and organic inputs) are for agricultural/horticultural/soil use only—not for human or animal consumption. Results vary with soil, climate, irrigation, crop variety, and agronomic practices; we do not guarantee yield. Guidance we provide is general information, not professional agronomy advice. Store cool and dry, keep sealed, use clean tools, keep away from children and food/water, and wash hands after use.
Regulatory Compliance
We endeavor to comply with the Fertiliser (Control) Order, 1985 and applicable labeling rules. You are responsible for complying with all laws governing purchase, storage, transport, resale, use, and disposal in your location. For exports, see the Export Addendum.
Product Information and Pricing
We aim for accuracy, but descriptions, images, labels, and specs may contain minor errors or reflect reasonable natural variations (shade, texture, packaging layout). Prices, taxes, offers, and availability may change without notice. Orders generated by obvious errors (e.g., typographical/system glitches) may be cancelled and refunded. Pack weights/volumes may show minor industry-standard variances.
Orders and Acceptance
Your order is an offer; we may accept or reject at our discretion (e.g., stock limits, shipping constraints, fraud risk). Marketplace orders follow the platform’s contract rules for formation, cancellations, and refunds. We may limit quantities per buyer or per order to ensure fair supply.
Payments, Invoices, and Taxes
We may support COD and gateways such as Razorpay, Stripe, UPI, cards, PayPal, and net-banking, each under its own terms. You authorize us/gateways to charge product value, GST, shipping, and handling. For B2B buyers, you must provide correct GST details; we are not liable if input credits are denied due to your non-compliance.
Shipping, Delivery, and Risk
Coverage is PAN-India; exports are governed by the Export Addendum. Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by courier capacity, weather, strikes, regulatory holds, or force majeure. Risk of loss passes on delivery to your address or carrier handover, as applicable. Inspect packages at delivery and report transit damage or shortages within 48 hours with photos and the outer packaging retained.
Returns, Replacements, and Refunds (Website & Retail)
You have a 7-day return window from delivery or in-store purchase. We accept returns only for sealed, unopened, unused items in original condition. We do not accept returns for opened/used items, items without original packaging, items after 7 days, or items damaged by misuse/improper storage. Acceptable grounds include wrong item, sealed damage on arrival, short-supply, or a verified quality failure. We do not offer exchanges or store credits. For approved claims, we will provide a replacement or refund at our option and as permitted by law. Marketplace orders must follow platform return workflows.
In-Store and Retail Outlet Terms
In-store signage (pricing, CCTV, return windows) supplements these Terms. Please verify MRP, batch/lot, and packaging integrity at the counter. We are not liable for goods taken out in apparent good condition unless latent defects are promptly reported. Bulk, dealer, or custom orders may carry separate written terms which prevail if there is a conflict.
Marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, JioMart)
Platform rules on ordering, payment, logistics, and returns apply first to those orders. We dispatch genuine goods and address product issues per platform policy and applicable law. Our official seller name is Vedas Organics. Purchases from other sellers may be counterfeit or tampered; we are not liable for third-party sellers.
Promotions, Coupons, and Trials
Coupons, referral credits, and bundles are subject to specific rules (validity, stacking, minimum cart value, exclusions) and can be modified or withdrawn without notice. Trial packs may be limited by quantity or geography. Fraud or abuse voids eligibility.
Accounts and Communications
You are responsible for your account credentials, device security, and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of suspected compromise. We may send transactional communications (email/SMS/phone). Promotional messages are sent only with your opt-in and can be opted out.
Intellectual Property and Content
All site/app content, labels, artwork, logos, and packaging designs are our IP or used under license. You receive only a revocable right to access and purchase. By posting reviews, images, or testimonials, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use and display them in connection with our business (including marketing), subject to privacy laws and platform terms. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or misleading content. We may remove content at our discretion.
Prohibited Uses
Do not violate laws or regulations, misrepresent identity or authorization, interfere with site security, use bots/scrapers that burden systems, circumvent pricing or coupon rules, resell without authorization, falsify approvals/certifications, or tamper with seals or batch codes.
Warranties, Liability, and Indemnity
Products and services are provided “as-is” and “as-available” without warranties (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not accept liability for yield, growth outcomes, or crop failure. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the lower of (i) the price you paid for the affected product(s) in the last 90 days, or (ii) INR [insert amount]. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including lost profit, yield, or goodwill). Mandatory consumer rights remain. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims arising from your breach, misuse, legal violations, or unauthorized resale.
Quality Claims and Testing
Report quality issues promptly with batch/lot details, photos, and storage/use information. We may request sealed samples for testing. Our determination based on reasonable in-house or third-party testing will be final for commercial remedies, without prejudice to statutory rights.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data for orders, customer service, payments, logistics, and legal compliance. Marketplaces and payment gateways process data under their own privacy terms.
Compliance and Anti-Abuse
We may suspend or terminate accounts or cancel orders for suspected fraud, chargeback abuse, policy violations, or unlawful conduct, and we may cooperate with law enforcement where required.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, severe weather, epidemics, war, strikes, transport failures, embargoes, governmental actions, cyber incidents, or utility outages.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and linked policies at any time. Changes take effect upon posting on our website (or through marketplace policy updates). Continued use or purchases indicate acceptance.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Indian law governs these Terms. Disputes will be resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator. The seat and venue are Pune, Maharashtra; language is English. Parties may seek interim relief from competent courts. Subject to arbitration, courts in Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not waive mandatory consumer-forum rights.
Severability, Waiver, and Assignment
If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights without our written consent. We may assign as part of a reorganization or business transfer.

Website Addendum
You have a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the site for personal or internal business purposes. Do not frame, mirror, or deep-link in a way that misrepresents affiliation. Do not introduce malware, attempt unauthorized access, or conduct load/vulnerability testing. Feedback you provide may be used by us royalty-free to improve our products/services. Third-party links/tools are provided “as-is”; use at your own risk.
Marketplace Addendum
Marketplace rules on ordering, payment, logistics, and returns apply first. Minor listing variations (images/titles/packs) may occur; current batch/QC details are available on request. Buy only from our official seller account (Vedas Organics); we are not liable for counterfeit or tampered goods sold by third parties.
Retail/Dealer Addendum
Retain your invoice and note the batch/lot number for any future quality queries. Bulk, dealer, or custom orders may have separate written terms (pricing, logistics, promotions) that prevail if there is a conflict.
Export Addendum (Standard Terms)
Incoterms & Risk
Exports use Incoterms® 2020 as per the Sales Confirmation: EXW Pune / FOB Nhava Sheva (JNPT) / CIF Destination Port / DAP Buyer Address (commonly UAE, Maldives, Uzbekistan, EU, UK). Risk and costs follow the agreed Incoterm.
Compliance & Certifications
The buyer is responsible for destination-country permissions/approvals, any registration of organic inputs, and local labeling. We provide the commercial invoice, packing list, COO, and any agreed certificates. Extra certifications (specific lab tests, phytosanitary, fumigation, pre-shipment inspection) must be requested in the PO and are chargeable unless included.
Quality & Specification
Quality is as per the Sales Confirmation. Natural variances inherent to organic inputs are acceptable within stated tolerances. Sampling and testing methods are mutually agreed; independent ISO/IEC-accredited labs are preferred.
Delivery & Delays
ETDs/ETAs are indicative. We are not liable for delays due to customs holds, port congestion, carrier roll-overs, embargoes, sanctions, acts of God, or other force-majeure events.
Prices, Duties & Taxes
Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude destination duties/taxes. The buyer bears import duties, VAT/GST, and local charges as per the agreed Incoterm.
Payment Terms
As set out in the Sales Confirmation (advance/LC/DA/DP). Title transfers upon full and final payment unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
Sanctions & Trade Controls
Transactions are subject to applicable sanctions/export-control laws. Either party may suspend or cancel performance if it reasonably believes the transaction would violate such restrictions.
Claims
For visible shortage/damage, note issues on the delivery receipt and notify us within 5 days of discharge/delivery with photos and (where applicable) an independent survey report. Latent quality claims must be raised within 30 days of delivery with sealed samples retained at receipt and test reports.
Governing Law & Arbitration (Exports)
Unless otherwise agreed, Indian law governs. Export disputes will be resolved by arbitration in Pune, India under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996; seat Pune; language English. Parties may agree on an alternative forum (e.g., SIAC/London-seated) in the Sales Confirmation.

Shipping Policy
PAN-India dispatch typically within 2 business days; delivery 2 business days by pincode. Risk transfers on delivery or carrier handover as per contract. Inspect on arrival and report transit damage/shortage within 48 hours.
